AQUA – boards with reduced water absorption
AQUA – foamed polystyrene boards with reduced water absorption. These boards are produced with a modern automated method. This product group includes boards with various thermal insulation, mechanical and water absorption properties. AQUA boards are used for thermal insulation of building components, which are especially exposed to high moisture conditions, e.g.: foundation walls or inverted roofs.

Why is it worth using AQUA boards?

Increased resistance to water absorption...
Special fabrication technology produces the „hydrofobic skin” during the manufacturing process, which effectively prevents penetration of moisture to the inside of the board.
AQUA boards, unlike the boards fabricated by cutting from the expanded foam block, possess unique properties, such as:
- ideal repeatability, which allows for perfect fitting of the boards,
- high water resistance at the milled joints, obtained by high temperature steam modeling of the edges instead of cutting. This unique method protects hydrophobic skin at the milled edges of the boards, which otherwise would be destroyed if cutting was employed during fabrication process. Finally, complete AQUA insulation layer possess unique water-resistance properties.

EFFECTIVE DRAINAGE
At the high-moisture environment, proper drainage plays the key role. The AQUA boards are equipped with dense network of tiny canals on their surfaces, which allows for fast and natural water flow and drainage.
Due to special steam shaping process, AQUA boards are additionally equipped with: (a) special gauge and (b) special surface which increases adhesiveness, which altogether simplifies installation process and reduces the installation time. |
